Retro Night
Monday was Audra's 29th Birthday. I took her out to Louis' Pizza and to McArthur Bowling Lanes afterwards (both on McArthur Ave near the Vanier Parkway).
Louis' Pizza is extremely tasty. I think they must use egg in their crust and the sauce has this hint is sweetness every once in a while. Highly recommended for the food. Ignore the decor if 1970's wood paneling and old diner seats aren't your style.
I had never 10-pinned before so it was quite the experience. The prices were 2.50/person/game or 10/person/hour. The shoes were in great condition and there was a good variety of balls to choose from. We had a great time and I bowled a miserable 86 and 89. The only sour note was that they only take cash. This forces you to use the ghetto bank machine just to the left of the cash desk. Bring some money and avoid ID theft.
